Nestled within the picturesque Sussex countryside is a 15th century moated castle - Herstmonceux Castle. It is here, in this truly magical setting, that history comes to life at England's Medieval Festival.

Great Britain's largest and most authentic celebration of the colourful Middle Ages - held annually over the three days of the August Bank Holiday Weekend since 1992.

History has never been such fun!

Twice daily Siege of the Castle and Battles with hundreds of Knights, Archers and Men-at-Arms plus Cannons and Trebuchet; armoured Knights Jousting and Skill-at-Arms Tournaments on horseback; breathtaking Falconry displays; Longbow and Crossbow Archery Competitions, Have-A-Go-Archery; spectacular Grand Parades; Puppeteers, Jesters, Strolling Minstrels; Europe's largest Medieval Traders' Market; fabulous Craft Stalls; Living History Encampments - with demonstrations; Live Entertainment - music, dance, theatre and storytelling; Kids' Kingdom with games and shows;Taverns with Real Ale, Mead and Ciders to sample, Authentic Food, Hog Roasts; and much, much more.....

Medieval Banquet

Saturday 23rd August 2014 (6.30pm -10.00pm) Herstmonceux Castle Grand Ballroom. Four Course Meal (including a glass of wine or pint of ale). Music & Entertainment throughout the evening.
