Food, Bar and Ice-Cream Concessions

There are four areas were a concessionaire can purchase a pitch at England's Medieval Festival.

The Ice-cream Concession

This consists of three points of sale located one in each food court area around the Festival site.

Food concession inside a marquee

Sited in the prime location in front of Herstmonceux Castle is a 40 x 100 foot traditional white centre pole marquee. In this we have the Buxom Wench Tavern. Half of this space or 50 running feet along the back wall is allocated to the food sales and the other 50 running feet is allocated to the bar sales. This point of sale will have tremendous sales opportunity to sell hot and cold food to 30,000 members of the public during open hours on each of the Festival days and will also have exclusive rights to cater for sales to 2,000 re-enactors who will use the facilities after hours on the four nights of the long weekend.

Suitable for self contained vans or mobile units.

The positions of these points of sale will be at our complete discretion however they will be sited in each of our three food areas which are as far away from each other as possible on site. Within each food area there will only be allowed distinctly different food concessions in order to give the customer maximum choice and the trader maximum opportunity to avoid direct competition.
